How to Find Update History in Windows 10

In Windows 10, you have very little control over updates. In fact, updates are automatically installed. If you wish, you can postpone the changes (if you use the Pro version) and set the active hours and restart the custom time to make it easier to install the update. Each time an update is installed, you will receive a simple notification in the Action Center informing you that updates have been installed.

Since Windows downloads and installs updates permanently, you may be curious about what updates have been installed on your system or what changes are causing problems. In these situations, it is best to check the Windows update history. This helps you better understand what updates have been installed correctly or have not been able to install. This article will show you how to display Windows updates in Windows 10 history.

As I said before, seeing the change history in Windows 10 is quite simple. To get started, click the notification icon in the lower right corner.

The previous action will open the Windows Activity Center 10. Then click the "All Parameters" button to open the Settings application. You can also use the "Win + I" key combination.

After opening the Settings application, go to "Update and Security."

In the Security Update and Window, go to "Windows Update" in the left pane. Now click on the "Place the Historical Day" option in the right pane under the "Update Status" section.

Once the link is clicked, Windows will show you all installed updates. The nice thing about this feature is that it will show clearly when updates have been installed with all attempts to update the installation has failed.

In the case of failed update installations, Windows will attempt to reinstall without having to download the update again. However, if the downloaded update has been corrupted, you can re-download the entire update.

Each update will have its own KB number (KnowledgeBase). To obtain information about an error or update installed, simply click on the "installation" that appears just below the update.

This action will show you general information that is not particularly useful most of the time.

However, by clicking on the "More", you can see all the things that there is an update directly from the Microsoft Knowledge Base site.

If you want to uninstall a particular update, click the "Uninstall updates" link at the top of the window.

The action on top of the usual control panel. Then select the update to uninstall and click on the "Delete" button that appears in the navigation bar. This action will delete the selected update.

Note that when you uninstall an update in Windows 10, over time the update is downloaded and installed. Therefore, to temporarily stop the installation of the update, use the Show or hide updates tool or simply postpone the updates (Pro version only).

Make comments below to share your thoughts and experiences on how to find the history of Windows Update and its usefulness.

World’s Most Insane Laptop With 3 Screens — “Razer’s Project Valerie”

It’s been a busy year for Razer. The PC gaming peripheral brand has rolled out new  keyboards, mice, and headphones, all while keeping its increasingly popular line of Blade gaming laptops up to date with the latest hardware.

I guess that means it’s time to have a little fun. Of the two major product announcements         Razer has brought to CES 2017, Project Valerie is certainly the most eye-catching. The already-impressive Blade Pro is outfitted with three 4K IGZO panels, which automatically slide out from the system when you open it.Whether Project Valerie will ever become real is up for debate, but it’s clear that Razer is interested in testing the waters to see if anyone out there would buy such a beastly system.Wow, that’s a crazy-looking laptopIn case it wasn’t clear, here’s Valerie’s most important trait: three displays. When the system flips open, the two side screens slide out from each side, overlapping bezels at the interlocking edges. The resulting footprint is wide enough to prevent your seat neighbors on a plane from using their tray tables, which is either a blessing or a curse, depending on how often you need to work remotely. For a laptop with such ambitious goals, Project Valerie is surprisingly svelte. It comes in at just around an inch and a half thick, although we didn’t actually see it closed – it is a concept product and not officially ready for shelves, after all. It also weighs just about 12 pounds. It’s not small, but it’s only somewhat larger than most 17-inch gaming laptops. It helps that it’s built with Razer’s classic matte black styling, a unibody enclosure that feels as sturdy as it looks. When we first heard about Razer’s interest in a three-screen laptop, our mind went straight to images of lopsided, massive machines like the Acer Predator 21 X. We didn’t think that would make it to production, but Acer announced its availability at CES 2017. Perhaps Valerie is more possible than we thought.

Okay, but does it work?
With the Razer Blade Pro as the base model, Project Valerie is supported by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and an Nvidia GTX 1080, which is essentially the most powerful hardware you’ll find in a laptop anywhere. Still, three 4K panels is a lot to handle, even for desktop-grade hardware. We played Battlefield 1 for a few minutes, and were impressed with the clarity and decent framerate — partially thanks to Nvidia’s G-Sync — but without any idea as to quality settings or actual benchmarking data, we’ll reserve judgement.
From a more practical standpoint, Project Valerie is overkill, but for some users, it might make a lot of sense. If your work mostly has you in one place, with the occasional work trip or conference room meeting, three screens is a boon not just to productivity, but to potential presentation and organization power.
But gaming is its real goal, and it’s one field where Project Valerie excels. Nvidia’s 3D Surround tool lets you stretch a number of games across all three panels, for a 12K gaming experience that’s unparalleled in the laptop world. Even a three-screen gaming desktop would be a require work, some wires, and other hardware, but Project Valerie rolls it all up into a neat package.
Performance
Razer’s Project Valerie is an impressive, albeit unwieldy laptop. There’s no room for compromise, because three 4K panels and the GTX 1080 take up too much space. That said, the potential for multi-screen laptop use cases can’t be understated, and we’re left feeling like there might be a market for this sort of over-the-top mobile powerhouse.
Alternatively, if you’re a gamer always spending your hard-earned dollars on the most extravagant and eye-catching hardware around, your ears should perk up when Project Valerie’s name is mentioned. It’s a stunning and impressive piece of technology.

4 Easy Way To Revive & Save A Wet Phone

Phones usually slip out of our hands or pockets dropping on the ground, wet floor or even in a bowl of water from time to time or you could decide to jump in the pool forgetting that your mobile phone is still in your pocket.

There is still hope that the phone is not totally damaged. Try out these tips immediately you remove the phone from water, it wouldn’t cost you a dime.

Steps To Revive a Wet Phone
1. Do not turn back on your phone right away (keep it off until you know it’s totally dry or if phone is still on immediately take off the battery)

2. Remove all peripherals from the device (back cover, case, battery, headphones and any other removable gadget)

3. Use a vacuum (vacuum round the device. Try to get as much of the water out of it as possible)

4. Use a substance with a high affinity for drawing out moisture (An inexpensive option is to place the phone in a bowl or bag of uncooked rice or desiccant “usually found with new shoes” for at least 24hrs or just cover the phone in towel)
